About

I am currently an EPSRC funded PhD student at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex, under the supervision of Prof. Edward Tsang. I also hold an MSc in Computer Studies (with distinction), also from the University of Essex, and a BSc in Economic Sciences, from the Department of Economic Sciences from the University of Athens, Greece. I am also a member of IEEE and of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

My research focuses on applications of Machine Learning in Finance and Economics. If you are interested in it, please feel to have a look on my research page and also on the relevant publications from my website http://kampouridis.net.

I have also twice been a visiting research student to the AI-Econ Center at National Cheng Chi University of Taiwan, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Shu-Heng Chen.
