Grounding in a wide range of philosophical thought, with particular focus upon Kant, Hume, Hegel, Heidegger, Nietzsche, and Kierkegaard. Final year dissertation examining the nature of the individual in Hegel and in Kierkegaard.
MA (with Distinction) in Continental Philosophy from the University of Warwick, UK.
Research conducted into the thought of Levinas ('Existence and Existents'), Kant ('Critique of Pure Reason'), Deleuze ('The Logic of Sensation' and 'What is Philosophy?'), Heidegger ('Being and Time' and 'Contributions to Philosophy: From Enowning'), and Hegel ('Phenomenology of Spirit'). Dissertation examining the nature of spirit, discipline, and the 'bestial' in Nietzsche.
Currently a doctoral candidate in the Philosophy Department of the University of Essex, UK.
