About
Christopher T. Marsden is Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Essex (2007-). He has LLB 1989 and LLM 1994 from the London of School of Economics, and Ph.D. from Essex. He is author of Net Neutrality: Towards a Co-regulatory Solution (2010, Bloomsbury), Internet Co-regulation (Cambridge University Press, 2011 forthcoming) and 3 other edited or co-authored books. His research is into socio-legal regulation, Internet law and policy, and has appeared in peer-reviewed articles, reports for the European Commission, European governments, OSCE and Council of Europe, and national regulators and foundations. He was senior analyst, RAND Europe (2005-07), Lecturer at Warwick (1997-2000), and regulatory director/general counsel at ISPs and start-ups (2000-3). He was Research Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School (1999), Industrial Policy Fellow at Cambridge University Computer Lab (2006-8), visiting fellow at law schools in UK, US, Japan, Australia.
