This module provides an introduction to research design and methodology. Students will be introduced to the basic principles of research design, and to a variety of experimental and correlational techniques for studying behaviour. Appropriate techniques of statistical analysis will be applied to data collected from experiments. Students will be expected to write laboratory reports for all the experiments they carry out, and these will form part of the assessment.
