Graduate Student, Institute for Social and Economic Research
Prof. John Ermisch
About
I am currently a PhD research student at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (University of Essex), where I’m also working as Research Assistant.
My broad research interests are in the areas of professions, trust, and social mechanisms; the shifting boundaries between trust/trustworthiness, work and employment, mainly professional occupations. I am also very interested on experimental games and trust measures.
I mostly work on longitudinal data, data that allow analysing dynamic links between individuals’ life events, employment conditions, behaviour and values, tracking changes in the lives of the same individuals over time, and through successive generations.
